Abducted by TGIF and Blog Hops

TGIF is a meme for Fridays hosted by GReads, and here is this week's question!

Best I've Read So Far: We're half way through the year (crazy how time flies!), which top 3 books are the best you've read so far this year?

Here are the books I have truly loved this year and highly recommend!

Will Grayson, Will Grayson By John Green and David Levithan
The Fault In Our Stars by John Green
Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen
Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand
The Sugar Queen by Sarah Addison Allen
Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor
and Just Listen by Sarah Dessen

Wow, I've read a lot of great books so far! Can't wait to see what the rest of the year brings!

And over on the Blog Hop circuit hosted by Crazy For Books the question for this week is...

Do you have a keeper shelf for books you loved? What books are on that shelf and why?

Yes! I have all my books organized by books I've read, books I haven't read, fiction, non-fiction, and books that were lent to me.

My favorite authors are featured on my these invisible shelves I got off amazon and they are on my living room wall! So, Maeve Binchy, John Green, Nick Hornby, and David Levithan each get there own spot. And in my kitchen I have a book case and all of my C.S. Lewis books go on the top shelf.

I tried to take pictures but my phone sucks!

Anyway, have a great weekend!

I think you're cheating!!! But that's okay. :) I really need to read a Sarah Dessen book. I hear she's amazing. And I love John Green. TFIOS would be on my list, too.

Also, I love that you organize your books in a similar way to me... one that would make it hard for other people, but that is perfect for us. :)

Hi! I'm Kelsey over at Ketch's Book Nook. I love your blog title, BTW!

I have a physical Keeper Shelf, but I also keep track of my books on Goodreads - including a favorite shelf. Though I addmit, just because it was a favorite means I keep it. I keep only what I know I would want to read over and over again. Otherwise, I like finding my books good homes so that others can enjoy them.

Hope to see you around and Happy Reading!

Daughter of Smoke & Bone is on my TBR list, but I recognize a bunch of the books on your list and have heard they're good!

I am working on not be quite so OCD about my books (ok, everything) but it's hard. My weekend plans include some book rearranging... I guess we'll see if I can handle it ;)

I've heard nothing but good things about Daughter of Smoke and Bone and of course TFiOS is on my list.

Book shelf in a kitchen.... sounds AMAZING! I want to do that as well, but I don't think my roommate would appreciate it :D

So far off your top list I've read everything except Daughter of Smoke and Bone (although I did download it from Audible) and Just Listen. Looks like you're having a good literary year!

I really need to read Daughter of Smoke & Bone soon! It's in my physical TBR pile but I've actually decided to go on a YA Contemporary reading binge once I get done with Graceling and after I read Pandemonium, which I just got at the library. Of course, your choice for book club isn't YA but it will still be a part of the Contemporary reading binge!

I've thought about reorganizing my shelves into those that I've read and those that I haven't read, but I have over 100 books that I haven't read... Maybe one day I'll try your system out and see if I like it.
