Abducted by Sundays in bed with...

Sundays in Bed is a meme hosted by Kate over at Midnight Book Girl, and it is a great meme to talk about what we are spending the day reading or what we wish we could spend the day reading.

So here is what I spent my Sunday morning in bed with...

The Happiness Project by Gretchin Rubin

The Happiness Project is a self help book I have been reading this year that has a specific chapter you are supposed to read every month. Unfortunately, I never quite got around to reading the March chapter, so I spent my Sunday morning trying to get caught up.

I figured it was the perfect book to read this morning because I actually don't have a lot of time to spend in bed today. Today I am taking Riley to the Medieval Fair

I have lived in Norman OK my whole life. Norman is also home to the University of Oklahoma, and in 1977 the University held its first Medieval Fair event. It has grown into a tradition and what once was a one day event held on the campus oval is now three days of medieval fun held at one of Norman's largest parks. The fair is not as hard core as some Renaissance Fairs can be, but it is still a ton of fun. And dogs are welcome so I always take Riley and walk around enjoying the sites.

Riley is looking very handsome, but not as happy as the book implies he should be.

And how jealous am I that you're going to the medieval fair?!?! Super Jealous. Please, have something delicious for me, and take Riley to the watering station for Emmy. She liked it there. *sigh*

The medieval fair sounds fun! I've always wanted to go to a Renaissance Fair cause they sound so cool, but I've never actually gone. :( Good luck catching up on your book.

I love medieval events! And Riley is adorable! I love reading novels and have a hard time getting through non-fiction. I should try harder. I actually do want to read the happiness project. :)

Aww, Riley! Everyone has been posting pictures of their pets lately, so maybe this Sunday when I do this meme I'll have to grab Siri or Lily and get them to pose by my book! ;)

We went to the Medieval Fair, too, on Sunday, and I was going to call you, but we went early and I remembered that you said you were going to go after church.

I got a Henna tattoo and Jonathan had fun jumping in the bounce house and seeing all the animals!

I hope you're enjoying The Happiness Project! It sounds like it's a great book for you and your other blog!
